My client, is a growing and highly successful, full service law firm with offices in central London. They are seeking an experienced Fee Earner or Solicitor to join their Residential Real Estate team.
With the opportunity to help shape and develop the department, the successful candidate will be encouraged to grow their own network of introducers. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Reviewing title documentation, contract documentation, mortgage offers and search results and providing accurate and comprehensive reports to clients.
- Raising enquiries in a timely manner.
- Responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
- Resolving complex and technical queries.
- Producing accurate financial statements for clients.
- Dealing with exchange of contracts and completions.
- Checking clients’ source of funds, KYC and other compliance metrics.
- Responding promptly to requests for updates from clients, estate agents, brokers and introducers.
- Updating introducer portals where necessary
- Ensuring that the case management is fully up to date.
- Recognising potential risks and resolving issues without putting clients or the firm at risk.
- Taking primary responsibility for purchase files.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Real Estate Solicitor within residential property or an accomplished fee earner managing their own caseload. Additionally my client needs someone with:
- Full understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- The ability to deal with non-contentious domestic conveyancing matters from inception to completion.
- A good knowledge of general conveyancing and related topics.
- Full knowledge of land registry practices.
