Conveyancing - Post Completions Coordinator
Description

A Manchester based law firm is hiring for a Post Completions Coordinator to join their Conveyancing Team.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • The successful Post Completion Coordinator would be dealing with a range of matters including, but not limited to:
  • Overseeing the post completion team
  • Dealing with balances
  • Dealing with file closures for sales, purchases, and re-mortgage files
  • Preparing and lodging AP1/FR1 applications at the Land Registry and ensuring all documents accompanying the applications are attached, dated, and signed
  • Dealing with any requisitions from the Land Registry effectively and in a timely manner
  • Updating introducer portals where necessary
  • Sending copy completion of registration to clients and lenders
  • Dealing with balances on account in accordance with the firm’s policy
  • Closing and archiving files once all post-completion matters and balances have been dealt with
  • Training junior members of the team
  • Escalating matters to management, such as potential risks as soon as possible

 

Person Specification:

  • Structured in your working methods and be able to prioritise work to tight deadlines
  • Strong administration and numeracy skills
  • Able to work using your own initiative and prioritise to tight deadlines
  • Motivated by working in a team environment
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in a high-volume post-completion department
  • Experience of working in a client care environment
Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Good standard of spoken and written English
  • Competent use of MS Office
  • Use of Case Management System (Proclaim beneficial)
  • Working knowledge and understanding in the use of HMRC website
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Land Registry portal and post-completion process
Job Benefits

In return, you can expect a salary in the range of £22,000 - £25,000 plus a range of benefits including home working, opportunity to earn and buy extra holidays and flexible working.
