A leading regional firm with offices in Preston and the Fylde coast region is looking to strengthen its long-established and highly successful Private Client Team.
Working as part of a team, the successful Private Client Solicitor would be STEP qualified or looking to pursue qualification as part of their ongoing personal development.
Role and responsibilities are varied and include:
- Administration of estates, and private or charitable Trusts
- Personal estate planning for HNW clients to include providing advice on all elements of taxation
- The drafting and putting on foot of private and charitable Trusts
- The drafting of both simple and complex Wills
- The drafting and putting on foot of Powers of Attorney and giving relevant advice
- Guardianship applications and administration
This full-time, permanent position requires someone with experience of Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning. A qualified solicitor, my client will look at candidates ideally 2 years PQE upwards as they see team fit as more important.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate a good academic record
- STEP Membership or currently studying towards STEP qualification
- Strong organisational and commercial skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to empathise with clients' concerns
